Arbitrary Waveform Generator

The 3400A is the high performance 50MHz Waveform Generator.It can create stable,precise,clean and low distortion sine waves by using DDS(Direct Digital Synthesis) Technology. With fast rise and fall times up to 25MHz for square waves and 200KHz for linear ramp waves.The 3400A also can generate variable-edge-time pulses up to 10MHz and generate complex custom waveforms.

High Voltage Multichannel Waveform Generator WFG600

The multichannel, high voltage, computer controlled Waveform Generator WFG600 is an exceptional instrument designed primarily for experiments on addressing liquid crystal devices and is most suitable for all applications where synchronized trains of pulses with variable width and amplitude are required.

WFG600 can be ordered in 8-channel version, 2-channel version (or anything in between) with ±100V outputs that correspond to our F10A amplifier. It is also possible to order a 4-channel ±400V model where each channel corresponds to our A800 amplifier. Other configurations can be prepared on request.

Differences between WFG600 Waveform Generator and a typical Arbitrary Waveform Generator

An Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) usually has only one output channel. The WFG600 Waveform Generator is a multichannel device.

The AWG's output-signal is a low voltage one and an amplifier is most often required. The WFG600 Waveform Generator has a very fast high-voltage amplifier built into each channel. Output amplitude is independent of the load (within the current limits).

Amplifier model range

These amplifiers are designed to extend the output range of low voltage signal sources. They are general purpose devices with a very low output impedance and fast response. The output is linear from DC up to megahertz range.
